The mission statement of this programme is to familiarize with the management of the patient with fractures and other in-hospital orthopedic conditions from admission through rehabilitation. You will be exposed to all aspects of the care of the orthopedic patient with particular emphasis on the radiology of fractures and trauma.

There is also a chance to participate in research projects, while gaining hands on research experience.
These projects are performed under the direction of and in collaboration with the orthopedic department at a hospital or clinic setting. In this particular case, please ask for opportunities available in research projects.

The programme was developed to last from one to three months, however, there is a chance to extend the internship dependending of the type of research or project to be accomplished.

Step 1: Counseling
We will talk about the medical experience and ask you some
questions to give you a good understanding and perspective on your internship.

Step 2: Applying for your internship
・ First, you will decide when and where you would like to start your interniship and how long you will do.
・ Next, you fill out the application and related forms.

Step 3: Your Internship Hospital is Decided
・ Your family will be decided around 1 to 2 weeks before your stay begins
・ We will tell you about hospital, location, etc.
・ We will send you the hospital information in the mail.
・ Next, we send you the invoice (it has all the cost related details.)
・ Last, you deposit the internship fees -- around 2 to 4 weeks before your stay begins.

Step 4: Your Internship Orientation
About 1 week before your stay begins.
